I don't know the situation now, but about 10 yrs ago, I bought a heavy duty sump pump from HD. It was a Ridgid. It was sold with a lifetime replacement warranty. I gave it to my son.

I bought a 1/2 hp Ace sump pump in april. It said on the box 2 year warrantee. This store is only 3 miles from my home so its convienent. thepump ran, but would not push the water the necessary 5 ft. up, I cleaned a small amount of debris, checked the pipe out, and tried the pump again but to no avail. Took the pump back to the store this morning and first the young lady cashier could not find my name in the computer ( I have bought thousands of $ at the place) than after I guided her to my name and where I had bought the $140 pump she says its not returnable. There is a 2 year warrantee I say. You need to return it to the manufacturer she says. Its a ACE pump and this is a ACE store I say. You want a manager she says. Oh yea I say. I nicely explain I want a new pump to the manager. No way she says, look at the tag on the pumps cord it says contact warranty company for tech support. Don't need it I tell her I need a pump to pump the 2.5-3.0 " of water coming tonight and tomorrow. Nope she says. I got a bit mad after that, and told her so, but I was stuck so I went back and grabbed another pump so my basement wouldn't flood tomorrow and I would have a chance of getting my money back. While grabbing the pump another manager said "those are great pumps" BS they are I have one on the counter up front that's a piece of chit, just like your store. "Oh you have to call the manufacturer to get a repair or new pump " Ya u going to come over and bail out my basement tomorrow morning while Im on hold with some pump company ? Look at this box it says 2 year warranty and I have one 6 months old that doesn't work. She spun around and went in the back room.
After putting in the new pump and checking operations, on my way to work I called the warranty /manufacturer and the very pleasant tech girl said "oh you can just return that pump to an ACE hardware store " No you cant I said and explained what had gone on the last 2 hours. Call me from the store and be sure you bring the pump and they will give you your money back. We will see on Wednesday, wifey gets off at 1:30 and she is going to give em the what for.

    Doggy

Ace is a large company with small/local flavor. This is a chance for them to show you how the small/local store is better than Big Box but instead of solidifying a regular customer relationship, they failed miserably likely driving that customer to Big Box.

It would be my luck that nobody else would be in the store at the time.

Morning hoarders, new washer was supposed to be here today but they called and said tomorrow. Yikes I am up to my eyeballs in dirty laundry.

My Eco-65 has given me a P code twice over the last week. Guess I need to figure out what or which the pressure switch is. The round thing I unplug for LBT?

    8.3.1 P Code
STOVE SHUTS OFF AND APPEARS ON CONTROL BOARD
Possible Causes: Possible Remedies: (Unplug stove first
    when possible)
    1. Pressure tap (located on the exhaust
    blower) is blocked.
Pull off the air hose from the exhaust blower
pressure tap and from the negative (white)
pressure switch tap. WARNING: THE TUBE
    MUST ABSOLUTELY BE DISCONNECTED
FROM THE PRESSURE SWITCH AS TO
NOT DAMAGE IT.. Blow in the air tube. If air
flows freely, the hose is fine. If air does not
flow through the hose, use a thin wire to clear
    the blockage.
    2. The flue is blocked or needs cleaning.
One of the following components is
obstructed or blocked by ashes of by a
foreign object; air intake shutter, combustion
blower, burn pot, heat exchangers and
exhaust channels, exhaust blower and or
venting system. Refer to the maintenance
    section.
    3. The flue is not properly installed.
Make sure the venting system meets the
criteria in the installation section of this
manual as well as the venting system
    manufacturer’s instructions.
    4. A back draft occurred inside the flue.
This can occur on a very windy day or if your
venting system does not have a proper
    termination.
    5. The pressure switch wire connections are
    faulty.
Make sure that the pressure switch wires and
connections are not grounded or loose.
Replace or replug wires if necessary.
    6. The pressure switch hose is
    disconnected.
Make sure the pressure switch hose is well
installed on the exhaust blower pressure tap
and on the white (-) pressure switch tap. If
    not, reinstall it.
    7. The exhaust or combustion blower failed. See Section 8.2: Testing a Component and
test the exhaust and the combustion blowers
independently. If one of them does not work,
make sure there is power and that blowers
are well connected. If they still don’t work,
    Eco-65 Installation and Operation Manual
    54
check fuse F4 and F5 on the control board. A
defective fuse will be darkened or will have a
broken filament. If the fuses are good, the
combustion or exhaust blower is probably
    defective. Replace the faulty part.
    8. Pressure switch is defective (very rare). Even though this situation is highly unlikely,
it’s possible the pressure switch is defective.
To test the airflow pressure switch, you need
to disconnect the air hose from the blower
casing. With the other end still attached to the
switch, very gently suck on the loose end of
the hose (you may want to completely
disconnect the hose from the stove and the
switch first and make sure it is clear). If you
hear a « click », the switch is working. Be
careful: too much suction can damage the
    switch.

Yes it is the thing you unplug when you do the LBT. Let me guess you just did the LBT and forgot to hook the pressure switch back up?

No LBT since spring, hoping it could be as easy as a fuse. Crinked my back first thing this morning standing up from the potty, GRRR, the kind the goes down the back of you thighs one. We'll see if I can get in there and check the tubes later, or wait til WWW gets home tonight.
