we had some crazy low temps late summer last year then it went back up for fall.

I wouldn't be surprised at 38 deg in upper elevations. It went down to 44 round here on that day

Direct from wunderground for my area on 9/2/17

I do believe Skeeter as it went down to 6*C the other morning. The lake is cooling off when I dive in these past few days. The pics promised..... one floor done today. The basement addition is for pellet storage with a hatch access from the carport weather protection.

Muggy here also, but not running AC, maybe later this week. I don't plan take it out until mid OCT. Not hurting anything to leave it where it is for a while.

No AC here either but it has been a very hot summer with forest fires all around me. The lake has evaporated approx. a foot and it's spring fed, go figureo_O Never seen anything like this before:eek:

Didn't use A/C yesterday. It was warm outside but I had cloud cover most of the day so I think the high inside was 76*. Did not cool off much overnight and it is now 75 inside and 70* outside with 85% humidity. Good thing I thought to drain the collected water out of the portable A/C yesterday as it will most likely be in use today.

Just turned mine on to hopefully preserve the current 76* inside. The sun is starting to hit the south side of the house (east side is shaded most of the day), so it's nothing but a heat up if I let it go.

Getting ready to move the P61a so I can finish off the wall that is behind its current location. Of course when they installed the stove and exhaust system, they put everything as close as possible to the cinder block wall. To boot, they used an off-brand exhaust (not as in cheap, but one made in Wichita, KS; Metal-Fab). Since I need to extend the pipe so it isn't too close to sheetrock, I figured I would have a tough time finding anything. I had actually looked online last year and found they only sold to installation professionals.

Well, I looked today and found a place that sells that brand, so I only have to get a 6" piece instead of a whole new system - sweet! The original exhaust is in great condition and very clean inside so I'm glad I get to save it.

Spent last 2.5 hours in the sun giving 2 hedges a long needed cut back and then cut the weeds in the same area.

Current temp-90, heat index 95...........I surrender and now in the ac. My honey is still out there but shes been working in the shade all day and now not doing much now due to heat.
