Watching Netflix instead of TV, tired of old reruns would rather watch old Netflix shows while waiting for more boomers.

Same here on the rain except we did get the high heat and even higher humidity. House is still pretty comfy though as everything was closed up all day keeping the crud outside :dennis:

My house was closed up but still got plenty warm in there by last night. It was still 77* inside this morning even though I had windows open, ceiling fans and a window fan going all night.

I found it ironic that after Unitil spent the past couple weeks all over Kingston cutting back trees and stuff from around the power lines, the power went out with the first bang of thunder last night. After about 30 min their outage map said our power would be restored between 2;30-4:30 AM. So I fired up the generator. And right after I did the power came back on. Lori called it too- "you know as soon as you hook it up to the house the power will come back"

2nd floor (bedrooms) got warm but the 1st floor stayed comfortable. Ceiling fan I installed a few years ago in the living room makes a huge difference for comfort. I really should install one over the bed but will need to run electricity there-I dont mess with that myself if not already run.
2nd floor windows were open overnight-muggy start but cooler and dropping humidity this am.

Well on the off chance that the boss was too light in her garlic planting she got about 1.5 lbs of garlic bulbs to add to the garden. We will see how it works out. We deal with the green striped cucumber beetles every year.

Rained so hard you could not see second base. Came on nearly instantly.

You are right about that. Absolutely ridiculous. I heard the count was supposed to be done today but I haven't heard any results.
