Must be nice. I've got three - a 2000 watt inverter generator that runs most everything I care about, a 5500 watt gas hog to run the well pump for long outages, and a piece of chit harbor freight 2 stroke I paid $99 for in case all else fails.

I don't mind power outages in the winter. It's easy to keep food cold and the house warm. Outages in the summer suck.....

The NWS is predicting 18 - 24 (or more) inches in this area. All the news weather outlets around here are having a field day with this one, saying things like this may be one of the top 5 worse storms to hit New England. Same thing they said about a storm in 2013 (that really did end up being one of the top 5!)

OMG! Hope you have a way to dig yourself out. SmokeyTheBear and DaveGunter are also in this same blue belt. But what will be the mess is Boston. 16-22 in. Those city folks will get so snarled up they will be until spring to dig their way out.

    I'm not even gonna look!

Wife went to the super market. Normally on a Sunday early afternoon she has rule of the isle's, Not today! She said it was total madness. Everyone and their brother were gathering supplies because of the storm!

Well power came back on earlier and I was cleaning up the garage and did a bag count and I'm at 81 for the season. I'm having surgery at the end of the week and decided to do a full clean since it is so close to a ton burnt and I'll be down and out for a week. This time I did it without pulling my stove and taking outside and using the compressor. I pulled everything apart and had the leaf blower running the whole time sucking everything out. I still think the stove gets cleaner with the compressor but this way wasn't too bad. Stove is back up and running!

I am confused, we used high temp RTV on all our connections, how do unhook yours to take outside?

My stove has an appliance adapter that basically has a "quick disconnect" and I seal it with silicone tape. Silicone tape comes off easily.

I have foil tape and silicone on my "permanent" connections and silicone tape on the adapter where I take it apart to pull the stove. This is the leftover black tape I had but I did buy two rolls of the one I posted.

Well had a party Saturday had no clue of the 2 plus feet coming until yesterday am. Fired up Genny brought around back to connect to gentran, did the gas run. Already shopped Friday. Booze not a problem, gonna probably shut store down and take a few hundred bottles home with me. My town usually gets 6-8 inches more than surrounding. Got 35 inches in 2013 so we shall see...... .:faint:
