Isnt this supposed to be a beer thread disguised as a pellet or firewood thread?

Hay STB, is the cave ready for you to crawl into during tomorrow's nor'easter?
My leg is getting better, still hurts some. I'll be on antibiotics until the end of the week. I have those knee high compression socks on. Worth your life to put on or take off. I don't know why I got hit so hard with the cellulitis this time. Have to spend a lot of time with my leg up. I fall asleep, then have a hard time sleeping at night.

Well you's older, more meds in your system, and likely you aren't moving enough. Wife had me out on the driveway for a torture session. The Bear cave is all set for a hibernation session.

We like those bakery donuts that weight about a pound each. You know you’ve eaten something good and filling when they hit your stomach.

Also beer and margaritas hit the spot.

He is the biggest hypocrite in the sport.. He is not well liked.
    Most recently..
They got busted last week for some illegal stuff on the car, got fined, loss of points,
and crew chief suspension for 2 weeks.
Sunday, he DOMINATED the race... won it hands down.
Rather than just get out, and do a gracious interview, he has to rag on NASCAR,
and all the media, and internet people, that had negative spin on the situation...
Just STFU, and be gracious... let the fact that you creamed the show, be your statement...
    Don't be an a$$..........

Well, I have quite a few contacts in the racing world, including in the charlotte area, and your statement is not true. I'd be interested in some facts and quotes from important people in the sport to back that statement up. And being a racer, I agree with his assessment of what NASCAR did.......it was petty BS stuff.

Well just had the lead Super(24 years younger) call me and tell me to stay home hmmmm don't think so need to take the next step in getting the pit the owner of the company keeps emailing me about DONE. Won't be anyone there to stand up forms but I will have done my job and just can't let the youngins screw things up cause I did not make it in.
He mentioned that the email he sent out was for the Assistant Supers and I should stay home haaa don't think so though I will be leaving very early once I get done what I need to .
Looks like the Coasters are gonna get it hard on this one, maybe so even harder than us in the hills if the weather geeks have it right . Ok after a another look at the warning 12-16" with localized 19" bah should have kept my trap shut.
Good Luck to the coasters !

On a non-NASCAR related point, just had the power go out for 20 minutes, no proper UPC....stove got real hot with no way to purge it.... promptly drove to Wally’s and grabbed what they had....stove restarting now.... lesson learned.

Question: Should I have done anything to get the stove cooled down faster? It was running full tilt when the power went out.

Nothing you can do without the UPS to shut it down. Doubt any harm was done.

Most stoves have oops screwups in joints. Just ask around a bit. Silicone sealants can handle a lot of them.
