Puter fun begins. Flash the bios on an HDD due to security reasons........ Nice of them to not flash it before sale, But put a notice in the package. They better warranty it if it gets fubar'd!!

Beautiful day it tis to nice to stay inside so figured I would do some cleanup of all the branches in the yard that departed their trees over the winter. Seems every year always have a few big ones from the Monster Maples around which i decided to break out the old 262 xp and buck em up . (my favorite all time saw) Got a fire going to burn it all up as long as the wind does not kick up anymore I should have all the yard junk gone.
Realized two things one is how much I love to cut wood and the second is how much outta shape I am in ! This is not a heavy saw granted its not wicked light either but has great power for its weight but seeing I have not cut in a few years it felt Heavy ! Dang got to get in better shape !
    Gorgeous gorgeous day !

The importance of monitoring side effects of statin drugs cannot be understated. This includes pushback from some in the medical community who will tell you it's just in your head. If that happens, find another doctor like I did. Still dealing with weak legs and stiff back, some days better than others. My new doc suggested a heart CAT scan to see if my higher cholesterol was causing plaque, his reasoning being if the higher than normal cholesterol level isn't causing any issues, than why concern myself with it. Had to pay for the test but it was money well spent and determined virtually no plaque to be concerned with. Big Pharma, who as far as I am concerned is behind the newer "recommended" cholesterol levels isn't happy with this strategy but I am. I just hope I can regain some leg strength.

Anyone with older P61/68 that has the yellow vac port in the hopper (before the mechanical lid switch was used?), dont unscrew it to check or clean it if you are the only one there at the time. Have to be contortionist with long arms to put it back by yourself. :picard: :headbang:

Yesterday I did a quick clean of the stoves before heading to the dump then to an event at my local H-D. Main objective was to empty the ash pans, but quickly hit everything with a brush to get the ash off the sides and baffles.

Went downstairs to check the hopper of the P61 a little while ago and saw this as I was reaching for the scraper.

The flame guide is now back in its appropriate place.

Don't deny that at all! Usually I look around after I've cleaned up the tools just to make sure I haven't missed anything. Apparently I didn't yesterday though. I remember thinking I should check, but also distinctly remembered replacing the cover under the burn pot so must have assumed I also put on the flame guide.

I will tell you that I haven't seen the end of the auger that shiny for quite some time - and being warm yesterday I know the stove didn't run that much. Probably good thing that those fire bricks are back there though!

I offered to help with some webcam issues and Hart didn't care to take me up on it. So now www.hartofme.com has an interesting image posted on its home page. Their issue has been happening for years now.

Or, have duct tape handy to hold the fitting in place while you rethread the yellow fitting back to the connector. Easy peezy
