Yeah, the first 12 miles of my drive was a nail biter. Of course I leave in the dark (in more ways than 1 :emb:), and drive unlit, twisty roads. Couldn't see 5 feet in front of the car. Speed limit on that road is 30-40 MPH and I rarely hit the speed limit - and that doesn't mean I was above it :bug:. I've driven that road for almost 30 years so I know it really well. I hate when the fog is that dense.

That's how I knicked a moose many moons ago, funny part was I was following someone and started to veer to the left to avoid a nasty bump in the road up ahead in a S curve:whistle: Sure enough out in the fog a large creature appeared out of nowhere on my righto_O I'm sure there's still a moose in the area with a crooked nose:rofl:

I was on that same med and my BP would drop too low and my heart rate would get to 40 when sitting quietly in my puter chair.

    Absolutely could not function.
Changed meds and then my stomach stopped working right and then the bowels decided to quit working right.

We made one more change and things got worse.

They had me on STATINS as well.
My major muscles started cramping and just did not want to carry the load.

After several months of this misery I weened myself down off all of it and SAID ENOUGH.

That was back in Aug 2015

Still have muscle weakness in the legs and its slowly getting worse even after stopping all the meds.

"statin legs" as it is known, isn't always reversible. I stated getting them early on. I cut my dose in half and went to every other day. Then started increasing it back up, first half dose daily then full dose. did this over a few months. This time, no "statin legs. The other bp meds that drop me down aren't so bad if taken with coffee. Should I not get the coffee, I am in for a sinking spell.

had the little guy over the other day helping in the shop:)

    20180217_170908.jpg

got the Ferguson TO30 running last night after a little point filing ( the PO didn't replace the points, go figure?). had to quick reduce the throttle as the governor wasn't responding but with a little distributer adjustment we are good to go. I'll adjust the governor tonight and fuss with a couple of minor items. Waiting on the rear PTO. we have one on an 8N at the museum, but I've got to dig it out, drain the trans oil, and remove it. Warmer weather is coming!
