Pellet heads!! What's up today?

Have about 3" here, and still sn*wing pretty decent.....supposed to stop by midnight.

 

4 or 5 inches here this morning. will do the snow blower deal in a few, and stoke up the fire in the shop.

took the three mafia blocks to the farm yesterday that were on my trailer ahead of the storm (1/2 blocks - 2200 lbs each). picked up the other LeRoi D226 engine for parts needed for my rebuild. hoping it has the correct connecting rods, and main bearings marked well enough that I can order the correct ones. had two sets come in so far that were supposed to be correct - not!
and the connecting rods in the engine were of the wrong type - the old pistons used typical ring clip retainers, but the new kit needs the clamp type on the wrist pins.

we'll see today as I have the head off already.

 

Halestorm is the real deal!!! Seen them at least 6 times and right now I could use a good hard rock concert........................Last time we saw them Lizzie reminded me of Steven Tyler with huge range and able to belt out a sustained scream at any given time. Her brother is the drummer.

 

well they predicted 1-3" and woke up to 8"

 

Got enough, more than original 3" to 5" looks like 8" or so. It is sunny so maybe it will melt.

 

Final total was a hair under 3 1/2"

 

Here is a good rendition of Close My Eyes Forever with Lita Ford-man I love the small places like this to see bands. Boston in the eighties had some killer clubs for this stuff

 

I was at 1-3 range also - got 5.5" (not complaining that I got less than you ). Already done snow blowing. As I was getting ready at 6:45 (my neighbors love me ) the town plows went by so this was a one and done deal. Very light snow but it's warming up with the sun out so those who wait may get a heavier mess to clean up. I will have to go out and shovel once the roof dumps though.

 

I was prepared to say screw it and not even touch the driveway with the up to 3" prediction and then warming up. Oh well gotta do the deed now.
