I don't know why, but after a cup or two of coffee in the morning, my arthritis isn't so bad. I feel more alert and motivated to get going on my day. The kind of coffee matters. Some resturant coffee is just bad. Like Panera's coffee isn't fit to drink. I like Dunkin Donuts, McCafe, and Cumberland Farm's coffee. I won't drink coffee that has been sitting around, or just colored water. Starbucks is just too bitter.

I hauled my ton of MWP down to the basement today. My hips complained the entire time. 50 trips up and down the stairs takes a toll on me these days.

Beautiful day it was nice and warm so the P68 got a serious cleaning along with my beloved rescue dog the divine Ms. Murphy. Took her for as many walks today as she wanted as during the week the poor thing spends too much time alone at home, managed to wash my truck, serious OCD cleaning of the cook stove, so all in all a day of cleaning. Grabbed 5 bags of Big heat to give me a better testing as they performed surprisingly well but that was just 2 bags run through. Did not make it downstairs to clean the p43 will probably be tomorrow and have to get some schedule updates done for work Bah hate it ....

Moved 40 bags of Ambiance over to a stack near the P43 so I don't have as far to go at 3:15 am before work each day and also did a serious cleaning of the stove room as it has a habit of attracting dust with all the pellets and my furry animals that like to hang out next to the stove. Had a great salad for dinner tonight while watching the latest series the wife and I are watching, (Taken) takes a while as Friday and Saturday are the only nights we have dinner and watch TV. Chilling with some Jefferson Bourbon and getting ready to catch up on some sleep.
    Be well all
Some pictures of my furry friends all rescue's Ms. Murphy a Yorky mix Rascalman the black and white and Duff the Black cat . We lost Rascalman this year to diabetes he was the man . And Champ who fell down the chimney as they were nesting there he was the third to fall down the other two I took to a rehab center but when Champ fell I thought it was my duty to rehabilitate him and it was a rewarding experience. Champ was released back into the wild successfully and he hung around for a while we use to see him from time to time.
As you can see I love animals its just Humans I have problems with :)
Heck feeling Froggy at 10:00 pm (could be the Bourbon) gonna mop the kitchen floor before I call it a night should make the Mrs. Happy in the morning as she's sleeping away right now. Real froggy as it turned out and I kept going right into the stove room .....

Yes.The high heat "rubber" works very well, lasts long, seals very well. Most people are scared of it because it is in the exhaust system, but fail to realize it is on the outside, does not see the temperatures of the inside of the flue pipe. These gaskets are normal replacement for some stoves, for some years.I have a sheet of this material in my stove parts, for neighbors/friends stoves, and, for next time I need to remove my Integra combustion motor, but,I have used a small part of it for one of my trucks, awesome.Just a bit expensive, but,is reusable. You would see most stove gaskets made out of this, except for the price,as they do not care about repairs/maintenance.

Agreed on all points Larry. Only difference is to me Dunkins isnt as good as it use to be. If you have a Honeydew (the coffee shop, not the list) in your area, give it a try. Old coffee is the worst and I just dont get Starbucks-way overpriced and far too bitter and I like strong coffee

I think it made it to about 40-44 here at home, was 56 down near Boston. Melted some of the driveway ice but still plenty left and hoping to break it up today with mid 40's again. Stove is turned off for a cleaning later-maybe clean the venting too, all depends on how the body feels after chipping ice

Agree that something changed at Dunkin and the coffee tastes bitter now. I stopped by an Aroma Joe's and was pleasantly surprised by how good that coffee was. I'll check out Honeydew next chance I get.

No Honeydew coffee shops in Maine. But should I get a chance to try it out, I'll try to remember.

I remember a buddy of mind tried to duplicate Dunkins coffee about 30 years ago-he was obsessed with getting it the same at home. Bought Dunkin coffee, spent a fortune on the same brewers they used, used filtered water-he tried everything but could not duplicate their coffee. Back then it was top notch stuff !!

Cleaned both stoves this morning, including LBT, and was out chipping driveway ice a little after noon. Everything is gone from the driveway except one spot that is in shade where the roof dumped a huge load. Doesn't block me from getting the car out - and not that I use the car much during winter anyway. I will take it out in a while to get groceries and let everything lube up a bit since it has sat for about 2 weeks.
