Hey Larry, did you get much feedback on this one? You mentioned your son said the Champion was a good generator, did you ask him on this one?

Hey Larry savemoney , bought 3 of these a year or so ago, and they work great. Plenty bright, even on Low, and will last 30 days on one set of (3) D cell batteries on Low. Great for emergency situations:

I hope so - roof hasn't dumped in at least 2-3 weeks because it has been too cold to get the thin layer of water it needs to slide. Don't have any icicles so that sets my mind at ease (somewhat). However, when I get brave enough this weekend to face the wind, I'll get out the roof rake and get the stuff off the edges anyway.

Its is so unusual to not have icicles at this point-all due to this cold. I took just a little off the edges yesterday but hoping the thaw will get more off later this week.

The cold has actually made the ice on the driveway not as slick and not much of an issue so far as far as driving on it. Crampons on my boots have kept me upright when clearing snow

Just checked the weather a while ago and thought the same thing ! I am hoping so could use a break thats for sure will feel like Summer when it first hits and I do have icicles forming and the next step is ice damms, was getting concerned but this will do the trick if they are even close. 10 day forecast are always subject to change in a Hurry as we all know lets hope for the best ! well except for Skeeter will probably make him sad it warming up but have not seen much of him as of late must be working his arse off !

You needn't worry usually I move 5 and take a rest. Repeat until I have 25 to 30 bags in the burn room. I normally chew up an entire morning in doing this. I likely will not do my 3 miles on the bike today.
