Is it time to switch from shoulder to high octane pellets yet?

Might as well load the Craprans now. They will be gone quick in this weather.

Did a deep clean of the EP. Smart Stove is cooling down. Getting ready for the week of cold.

As all I have is Crabbe, 802's and LaCrete so none are slouches.

Been burning Crabbe so far but I did finally dump in a bag of 802's this morning to try them out. The hopper was still half full of Crabbe so it will take some time to work the 802 into the fire. First impressions of the 802 was surprised to see them as dark as they are for a 100% softie but that wont mean anything-lets see how they burn

Well I got my humpteen piece tinker toy together the girls noticed it is hard staying upright to get a good walk in during snow season so there is a new exercise bike in the living room.

Still running the stove on Room Temp. But it has increased to using about 1 1/2 bags a day. Wife likes it 76F+ or she starts :heidi:, She won't stop complaining until she sees the thermometer climb. My spot out on the sun porch stays about 70F. Much more agreeable for me.
On the bright side, one, I have my computer back from repair, and two, the generator has been delivered! I checked the delivery tracker and found out it has been sitting on the loading dock in Sidney Me since Wednesday of last week. That is about 9 miles from here. Had I known about it I would have been tempted to either change the date or go pick it up. Realistically, I am better off having waited. After what SmokeyTheBear went through with his order, I was a bit nervous. I don't know if he placed his order yet, but if he buys it from TS, it should be a problem free process.

I have to move my house stat as it is by the basement stairs and gets false warm readings there when the stove is running full bore like right now. It wasnt too bad until we changed a wall and now a little more heat from the basement is by the stat.
