Get fitted for them if you can. Well worth it. I saw a podiatrist who prescribed the right type and size. VA provided them for me. saved me a lot of money and improved the comfort. I am very heavy so that works against me in so many ways.

I really wish there was more options to buy quality in clothing.

Lol, true. But even then it doesnt necessarily translate to quality. I cannot even think if a place that sells high quality American or Canadian made clothes locally. Sure you can go online, which I do for boots, sneakers and jeans. But shirts, no idea.

Well, had a very thin coating of *ce on the decks last night, but everything turned to rain here overnight.....dark, cold, rainy, miserable day here so far.....34*. Supposed to go up to 39* around 7pm, then drop like a rock. Looks like a brown Christmas here.....oh well, I can deal.

Went out and hacked all the ice off the driveway before I went to the dump. It was probably 1/2" thick. Will put on sand in a while.

Interesting - must have had a power flicker just now as the P43 went to shut down running off the battery just now. Didn't notice it with the lights or computer so it might have been more like a low power interruption. The stove started back up after 2 cycles of the blower, so wasn't long and I never would have known it if I wasn't sitting right here.

:wreath:Got to try hard to get into the spirit even though it is icing out. I have my tree up and the shopping all done. Little wrapping left. Some more picking up to do and a string or two of lights to put up. After Monday, the dust will settle down and we will try to get back to normal (whatever in heck that is). I shopped and shopped this year until I got whatever I could find that folks mentioned they might like. I end up spending a couple grand each year. I feel a lot better about that money spent instead of all the money I spend on taxes. At least the kids have a good time. Love watching the grand kids (the little grand kids) opening their gifts. The big grand kids get a few thing, but mostly money. They never toss aside money! :santa:

Had a real, live power flicker where everything that could shut off did, then restarted. We have a lot of ice build up and tree limbs are getting low - like this one that is about 4.5 feet off the ground (that is a 6' fence - angle isn't good). The limb is normally a couple of feet above the fence.

Glad I had the willow taken down earlier this year. Also glad I cut any branches around the fence that I could reach with a telescoping limb lopper.

That's what I've given my niece since she was a teenager (she's in her 30's now). May not be creative or original, but she never complains about it not being the right size, right color, or not being able to use it anywhere!

Anyone know the grade of bolt used for a shear bolt? Broke one of the shear bolt in the auger of the sn*w blower today. I know I have a bag of them but they are not where I always keep them. :headbang:

Gotta try and find something before Monday's sn*w and the Honda dealer isnt open tomorrow. Talk about bad timing

If you have an old bolt (or survivor) - Aubochon's has the specialty bolt section, they also sell shear pins. Cost a mint, but it's always an option.
