Said it already, this winter is shaping up to be a cleats winter. The last 2 storms have required them for cleanup.

Huh? Even with some sn*w base? Must be iced underneath from previous? Chit..........

The doc is on board as he has seen first hand that the ccb is basically useless for me all it has done is make my lower resting bp too damm low just like the last 10 mg of lisinopril did way back when, the only knob on my bp has been the metop. and the other than er version lasts 1 half life which was about 3 hours then my bp goes zoom it started out at 9 hours. My cholesterol were fine before and during my episode but no way do you get out of the hospital without the max dose of lipitor these days my numbers are too low to really measure these days so cutting it to 40mg (a very high dose anyway) isn't likely to make that big a difference. I have to live with this stuff but I ain't about to spend the rest of my life being in a drug induced stupor. Now what do you call 87/44 I call it fall over time?

Because of that I went ahead and snow blowed everything this morning (paths and all). I can't afford to have 12+" of cr*p waiting for me when I get home.

Are you all set w/ this? Because I can swing up during the week, after work / in the evening and make sure the driveway is clear, at least.

If you want / need some help w/ this, shoot me a message, be glad to help.

Along with the "dont hit my head...dont hit my head" Been there too many times.

Just checked the driveway. About an inch there. Light sleeting and an ice crust on top. Hopefully the ice crust holds up and stays loose underneath then cleanup should be OK later. Staying put as well-there really arent any vehicles going by so others must be thinking the same.

Tough weekend for this crap though as many have to travel. Heading to Kittery sometime Sunday and then to Mass Christmas day. If we get too much crud Monday, Mass is isnt happening

I kinda feel like Uggs are just ok. I bought my wife a pair last year that were made more for bad weather. They were $150 and made in Vietnam. Probably a $50 surcharge for the name brand.

One of my pet-sitter's boyfriend has a plow on his truck and she said he could probably make a pass thru the driveway if needed.

Thanks for the offer though!

And just like these that were made in China, cost 5-10 bucks to make.

The KEEN Monmouth utility boots I bought myself last winter are made in the US, are rugged as heck, warm and the sole is great on sn*w and pretty good ice. Much better traction than the Merrells they replaced. I used Merrell for a long time but the quality has dropped in the past few years and the material they have used on the sole have been awful lately as they get hard when its cold. I have seen many user reviews saying similar on the Vibram soles.
