IMO, its UPS that will take a beating next year as shippers are making decisions on what company to use. After my encounter with them 2 weeks ago I am not calling for anything. At work, any shipments that may have come UPS I have changed to Fedex and have received each and every non UPS delivery on time.

They may be overloaded but their customer service people are brutal. Its time to ditch the scripted responses that infuriate the customer, admit that they are behind and start giving refunds instead of charging extra to make a delivery change when the customer is attempting to fit their tardiness.

:jaw: You're gonna need a bigger boat.

From the ad: "Measures at 11"x10"x7.25" - Discombobulated" .. That pretty much exactly describes the various electronic gizmos, connectors, and parts lying around here, looks good for that! Thanks for posting it up G ! :handshake:

My FIL restores Cockshutt's among others like Massey Harris, 1 John Deere. He still has the Cockshutt 60 from his father which he bought new when he was a young lad.

Knowing how serious Jay & Joey are about :seasoned:, I'm betting they already have Snap-On or Mac tackle Boxes in the boat. :D
    How about this one Jay?

I don’t think I live to far from you. It’s no big deal to put the blower in the back of the truck let me know if I can help.

With all that tackle JT, you may need (2). :D
Being a Ford guy myself - that's pretty much guaranteed.

It's been a busy week here - the remaining Kia's were towed out of the driveway, from (7) to (3) vehicles now. We're setting up a Volleyball court, and a Bowling alley. * Down to (2) Toyota's and a Chevy at the moment, sorry JT. :(

Real busy week getting everything cleared/prepped for the towing to happen, and lots o' snow clearing around the house, deck, back shed, etc.

Also confirmed the water pump was bad on the Intrigue, that took several hours / a few mornings: found some loose clamps, etc. in the process & was able to confirm everything was tight / not leaking, so that was worthwhile..

Watched the pump get progressively louder & crunchy -> as motor approached operating temp., and observed the pump stutter & lock up, before the motor belched coolant. Better the Devil you know, I guess. The repair s/b straightforward, not too involved.

and.. Lower auger motor crapped out on the Englander 25-PDVC while final testing: was expected, given the massive blob of congealed pellets found when I pulled the lower auger some months back .. This stove was ran for 2 yrs. 2007-2009, sat for another 2 inside the original install (basement), then sat for another 4 in a sheltered, but open air barn.. Too many years w/o any stove (motor) maintenance. Stove's gonna get some more luv next week, and get running. :shiver:

Not much else new - water pump for the '01 Intrigue arrives today, replacement plastic panels are cut for the '96 camry, new 1/4" butyl rubber rope gasket to attach them arrives tomorrow, metal sheet work is rough cut for the rear pass. wheel well fix this weekend,

Still lots 'o IT work, slowly chipping away at each project. Really need to pick (1) and spend a few days / some quality time getting it done. Maybe Christmas day, while watching Ralphie coveting the Red Ryder BB gun.

    Have a fun day all!

UPS took its beating in '16 that's why USPS is taking a beating in '17 *zon did a foolish thing and is taking yet another beating.

Meanwhile Bear is going to warm up his pill cutter since the doc says I can half the amlodipine and lipator I'm eating. He was happy with the bp readings today, maybe next time the ccb can go away.

That is good, but a little med left is a good protection from another event. No guarantees but better chances.

Got home from work and snow blowed the 5" of snow off the driveway, around the mailbox and to the tent garage. Didn't do the paths and such as we are supposed to get freezing rain tomorrow and getting sand to those areas sux. Hopefully I can get those cleared tomorrow evening.

Just came in from doing the same thing. No paths done here either.

Sucks leaving for a bit in the winter and hoping for no sn*w while gone. I had a similar in 2014 when I had to go to Atlanta for a week end of January for work. I got lucky as it didnt do anything here...but it snowed in Atlanta
