The Beautyrest actually has more 5 star reviews, but I can get the Sunbeam for about $15 cheaper. Most likely I'll get that one, as I like the remotes better. I'm guessing they work about the same. Wish someone made one w/ a timer....I'd like to be able to set it for about 2 hours then shut off, but have yet to see one like that.

Yeah, a timer would be nice. Mine has an automatic shut off after 10 hours or so.....i usually forget to turn it off.

I'm usually warm enough after about 2-3 hrs, so I'm guessing that if the heater stayed on for 10 hrs, I'd be waking up in the wee hours and have to shut it off.

EDIT: I did finally find one with an hourly timer......https://www.walmart.com/ip/Simple-C...online&wl12=223903677&wl13=&veh=sem#read-more

Today was the day to deep clean both stoves. Sure, I did a petite clean last week (emptied the ash cans), but wanted the stoves to be good to go for the house sitter. Ran the LBT and didn't get nearly as much ash out of the exhaust as I figured would be there since I've been running the Maine's Choice (choice for ash that is). Guess the ash has been heavy enough that it stayed in the stove. Fine by me, both stoves will be running TSC-MWP's until I get back (no, not leaving yet).

30* out and sunny. A little breezy but the way the weather guessers were talking about how the wind chill would make it seem seriously cold, I was expecting real wind. Not complaining at all though!

Polar fleece are even better. Warm when you get in, the cold slowly seeps through. Not so much of a shock.
