    Lost power for a bit. Someone must of tagged a pole.......... Well hope it was just a fuse or something.

    New DVR boxes boot slower than the DTV chit. Each time you have to set the display............. Errrr! So much for the up grade!! :loco: :crazy:

    At work it did turn to rain but I had my Ice Screen on the truck's windshield and the rest of the truck wasn't too bad to clean off. The roads closer to home had not been plowed for quite some time - guess they were waiting for rain so they didn't want that ice skating rink.

    Got home last night to about 4 inches of sn*w, it was freezing raining and beginning to freeze the sn*w already. Cleaned for an hour and a half and hoped for the best overnight.

    Worst kind of storm IMO. I really hope this isnt one of those years with frequent storms like this.

    All I want for Christmas is no ice this winter :)

    Made it home ok-took almost double time and after I was done it was hot shower time, sammich time and I was beat. Hit the couch, turned on the tube and was asleep pretty quick

    My DVR box boots ok and holds settings but it is a pretty basic unit so not a lot of functionality settings. The PITA is that it has to download the Guide which takes hours and if you want to see what is on different channels you cant.

    That is how mine is. I got the box when I moved into this house in 2013 and don't have any of the fancy stuff new boxes have. It holds settings thru any power outage, just everything is "To Be Announced" until the guide gets downloaded.

    Welp, 4x4 test track set up and baha'd to the bottom. Skipped the sand and went straight to rock salt. Of coarse the freakin bag ripped and half ended up in the back of the buggy. Good thing the wifey got the cargo liner. I'll dump that out by the driveway when I get home.......

    Roads were nice and clear. No issues traveling. But the roadway and driveway are gonna stink until we get back a few warm days................. :loco: :crazy:

    That's strange. When my box reboots, don't have to do anything. The previous settings should be stored. BTW, is your new DVR box have a hard drive, or on the cloud like mine is now? I do NOT like the cloud set-up Optimum has....takes forever for things to happen.....makes you think there's something wrong with the remote. I miss my DTV.
