    Last month on the news they said some company was paying $1 per turned maple leaf. Catch was they had to be in perfect shape and you had to mail them in. Yeah, because even if they were in perfect shape when you packaged them up, going thru the mail will take care of that.

    treated myself (and Kathryn) to a new flat screen
    LG Electronics 65SJ8500 65-Inch 4K Ultra HD Smart LED TV (2017 Model)

    to replace the 10+ year old 37".
    I have to cut the entertainment cabinet down so this TV will sit on top. will be a pleasure to take the saw to it as I did not want or like it from the beginning. Former GF wanted to be able to close the doors to hide the TV when we had company.... Really? hide it - no one will know we have a TV! pic's to follow!
