You work hard for what you get, but in the end, the price is right for you.. I admire your ingenuity and ability to work through a problem. :salute:

Don't think you have escaped it quite yet. Most of those things have delays. If you are on the end of the chain you still have plenty of time to get it.

Since bobcats have a large territory I suspect that cat has crossed our lot more than once considering that groundhogs are a rare thing the last two years. I used to dispatch a few each year on the lot only saw one this past summer. I think the last of my apples are under attack by granddaughter. I see a cart in the garden area. We have about 4 bushel of pears riping (these are pick and then about two weeks they are ripe pears). The Asian pears have gone by.

Nasty bug! need to be at least 4-6 days out to consider yourself having missed it. Hope everyone gets their flu shots. This years flu is really hard. Wife and I both got our shots. Felt a little off for a couple days, but then ok.

Oh the third bird will go on the recycle pile today we found it just outside the lawn area yesterday evening and it was too dark to go to the recycle pile without tripping over things. I have very large feet and can be very clumsy these days.

In a CVS this past weekend for shin guard tape. My honey say in a very low voice to me and her daughter "stay away from the young girl, she has a terrible cold". Few minutes later the same girl changes direction in the isle and ends up sneezing on my honey  :headbang:

Why are they not on your dinner table or in the freezer?

They are/were in their 5th season a little too tough even for being stew birds by about 4 years give or take. So they go out to my recycle pile in the woods don't worry hasn't been one that has gone to waste.

Normally birds bred just for meat are harvested before they are mature – anywhere from 8 to 14 weeks of age. Layers generally one laying season, then they are considered stew birds and are sent to freezer camp.

I must admit I don't enjoy that side of the story but have done it in the past. If you really want to know about chickens read a lot of BackYard Chickens or get Storey's book on raising them.

Couple a spots they need to polish out and get rid of the auto body shop interior stink. Otherwise pleased with the repair. Body seems on that side are better than factory. I have to call Bob, who has Mondays off tomorrow to see what they can do mostly the stinky interior. I see the spot that needs to be polished cause I'm picky. But most wouldn't. I'm sure you would.
