???? The manifold itself, or a leaking gasket.....both sound strange to suddenly start leaking.:loco:

Pete it has some small spring that is under a rubber about the size of a 50 cent coin and there was some thing else on the bottom that was also gone , so they replaced the manifold and it comes with all new injectors , and this is all under a plastic cam cover that can't be reused once it's off so that has to be replaced :hair::hair::hair::hair::hair::hair::hair:

Built in PCV valve? I recently worked on a Mini Cooper that needed a new cam/valve cover because the PCV failed. Was $329 for just the cover!

I bought an extra 5 year extended warranty on the new truck. Supposed to be bumper to bumper no deductible. If that happened to me in theory it shouldn't cost me anything, but I don't want to test it to see.

That usually extends the warranty to 5 year 100K-but that may be only power train.

What did that cost subbie? I did the same for my Certified Pre Owned Honda; it cost me around $900-1K and it never was needed: so money wasted with good intentions or is it well spent for peace of mind?

Sooooo, Will if you look at the fact that you did not spend an extra 1K for a bumper to bumper warranty that is just about to expire AND this repair is 500 then you just saved 500.

Now go spend that 500 saved on something t make you feel better about the 500 just spent :)
