You realize I haven't had even a weak beer since July when I did in three Lemon Shandies over three days. Bear is really out of practice these days.

Getting gear ready for tomorrows lake trip. Wifeys canning some maters. Picked a few yellow squash for dinner, Good night for some brats and beans. And brews of coarse. Shipyard summer ale. And a backyard fire until the Yankee/sox game starts!!

Supposed to rain Sunday, So we'll use it as a veg day. Picnic on Monday. Local spirit shop has some Oktoberfest brews, But passed for now. Summer ain't over in my book until the weekend is over. But it sure got chilly!!

And now we are not doing any canning. I would like to, but I get "comments" that just makes it hard to do it. What little I get now, I can buy at farm stands and not have the flack.

Our main thing now is to dehydrate a pile of fruit. The boss reworked the bracing on the peach tree before she left for camp. All of our fruit trees are loaded don't know if we will be able to use it all but there are horses next door.

Some people don't know that is more than a whole and a tree that it takes to plant a good tree. You haven't been there too long, so you must have done it the right way with the right saplings.
