Zero percent chance of rain when I got ready to leave the house this morning (4:35 - time shown of 5:24 is when I got the computer at work fired up). Suited up and pulled the bike out of the garage. Yep, started raining just then. Went in and grabbed my helmet and rode anyway.

This little rainstorm accompanied me all the way to work (32 miles / 45 minutes). I was happy that the heavier stuff waited until I got into work before letting loose.

Very light shower coming thru here but suppose to be done soon and dry after that. Did you get much last night? I was just east of the heavy rain and was dry all night but thunder boomers and lightning was lighting the sky when I went to bed

We got nothing at all - not even a light show. Haven't seen any rain since Friday - not really complaining except I had to water my new plantings last night before going to bed. Provided dinner for the skeeters! :hair:

Been fortunate - no fleas and only found 1 tick which I'm sure I picked up from HD.

Ticks have not been bad in the yard itself.

We have opossums that come through. They apparently get a lot of ticks on them due to height and they clean themselves with needle like teeth and remove/eat most of them.

    Like a mobile filter.

Best of luck and success with the Taurus. Just think of all the money you will have saved if you are able to fix it yourself.

This summer the Furry little Squirrels have descended upon us in droves.

Cute little buggers but a nuisance none the less.

    Decided to try relocating them.

Picked up a catch and release trap at a garage sale and it works sweet.

Little peanut butter in a small plastic cup up front and soon there is a guest inside.

Run them a couple miles down the road and open the door.

    One ugggggly animal..
Got one that strolls through my driveway every now and then..
When the skunks aren't busy using it.
    I swear... it's a highway for critters...
