Been seriously considering building myself a Ryzen rig and may do so soon as I built the wifes 7 years ago and if it takes a dive I will never hear the end of it. Has run perfect to date though !

Started with an apple mac 2 then a ppc 7500 upgraded it to a G3 processor then built a Athlon 650 Slot A machine that I overclocked with a gold finger device that allowed you to adjust the multiplier (have to see if i have a pic somewhere one slick device) Since then have had many intel and AMD rigs I have built. Dont believe me check out the spare room that I have full with computer parts definitely Hoarder status, keep promising the wife I am going to recycle all those parts .......
Have built computers for all of my family including my 4 siblings and both my parents over the years ....
    Haaa ! found the pictures

I am currently using 2 of the S3000i for subs and 3 MTM210's for the Front/Center/Right speakers. I would love to upgrade to 2 S3601 but that's mo money and the truck needs tires, rear brakes with rotors and the windshield has a crack that isnt getting bigger and not in line of site but wont pass inspection :makeitrain"

Getting tires put on the car on Monday. Will find out then how many other things need to be fixed. Hey, I can't complain as it was a $1300 car that I bought over a year ago and have only spent $35 on it so far (besides gas and oil changes). I'm going with Kumho tires (touring) as I'm so pleased with the ones I had put on the Explorer last fall (A/T's).

Which pellet head pulled out of the Irving on 114 at 5:10 this morning - hauling 12-14 tons of pellets? Too dark to see if there was a sign on the side truck when I passed him on 101, but it wasn't the usual big flatbed, so didn't look like a Company delivery.

This is going to be the first brake job that I havnt done myself and going to cost me 200-250 more than doing it myself but the body doesnt feel up to fighting the cold weather and cold pavement of the driveway while also trying to beat the storm coming in. Older and smarter now to know when to let someone else do it but its still kind of depressing to not do this myself. Also no other vehicle if I run into needing unexpected parts. If it were May, June or later and I had good weather and a Saturday it would be different, but its going in on Monday.

I need to arrange for the tires to be done and the windshield replaced before end of April. :emptywallet:

Pete I can go with Pollywell and have Ubuntu or SUSE installed on it saves $104.00 right off the bat.

Since you're looking for speed & power: Mac Pro

No matter what one buys one pays the M$ tax except from Pollywell, who specialize in no OS systems you can install or have them install zero or more of your choice. My extreme edition P4 was from them, it had SUSE on it because I already owned a copy.

I am currently Running Zorin OS9 LTS
Got an intel 9770 cpu calling the shots

A bit older rig but runs smooth.

Gotta love a new puter though.
