The local news that I watch isn't saying anything about snow up here. Mostly cloudy with some sun last I heard.

Mums da Word brother and it is one honey hole , growing up in south FLA i have caught some serious bass but this hole is only second best to one I had found in Upstate NY . Never less than a dozen every time i fish there ranging from 2-5 pounds and most days catch 20-30 bass. Funny as for year after year i watched from the shore people fishing this pond catching nothing but said hell there has to be bass in there so my brother and I gave it a try and caught 30 that day . The two pictured finished off the season one weighing 4 and the other 5 pounds was a good day !

No worries on the bass, Luneyburg . We no eat em. Just kiss and turn loose to be caught another day. We get out at least once each weekend. Usually the whole day. Until we run outta food.......... The above pics are from the only lily pad lake we can get the big boat on. Our big lakes are deep and full of grass. Still fun, Just not the bam you get with the topwater smash!! The big lakes are awesome for spring jerk baits. We'll post pics once we start getting out there. Can't be soon enough!!

Edit: I hope he takes a better pic of my lunkers next time. Notice how his is nice. He always seems to have an excuse to why mine look fuzzy!! o_O

AARRGGH - it turned into ice pellets for Monday. I would rather the 5-8" of white stuff on Sunday!

B, its still too far out to say just yet. This year seems to really need to wait until almost the day before in order to get anything near close to correct forecasts.

What a treat last night to be able to come home from work, do a few things and have warm enough temps to still grill at 7 pm without freezing

Yes I know, but they have been pretty on top of forecasting when bigger storms will hit, even a week in advance. Remember that last storm? They were 7 days ahead of everyone else knowing we would have a big total. I will admit they get wishy-washy as to totals when the storm is on top of us, but they do pretty good long-range forecasting.

More like accumulating sleet, or maybe just the new term just sleet. Either way, its no fun no matter what you call it
