P43 cleaned - all but the exhaust path, which I wasn't worried about anyway. Ash pan was full so it really needed it. Only lost 1* on the main floor, and it is now producing fire to heat it back up in here.

Now to let the P61a cool off so it can receive the same service.

My cheapo stove doesn't have an ignitor! I use starter gel. Once it's running, it pretty much stays running anyways.

I wound up having to use the mapp gas torch. Gel just wasn't doing it. This igniter will be a bear to change.

:shiver: outside, But toasty in here. :D

Son and I worked on some fishing gear after we changed the lower burner in the oven. It decided it didn't want to cook diner one night last week. Easy peasy fix once we found who had one in stock. Had to change some guides on a few of the rods. I forgot how much I disliked doing guides, Not fun!! All set but putting the finish on.. And besides some orders. We are ready for the season. As far as gear goes. Now we'll need to tinker with the boat as soon as it warms a bit more.

    Watching some nascar and .

I cleaned my stove yesterday when I got home from work at 1:00. My ash pan was overflowing too. Got it done before the temps dropped. Ran the hopper empty of the Natures Own that I was burning and loaded it up with Blazers. I'll be burning those until it warms back up. I love the no ash of these pellets. -3 here this morning, got up to 9. Wind howling all day. 1* right now and still windy. Wife is bitchin she's sweating.

Oh he wants a few for sure, but after the pain and 16 days in the hospital he wont do anything the doctor says he can't do. He wanted to have a nice meal and a few brews on his birthday Feb.24th. But that didn't work out. He loves seafood so he did have a cup of lobster bisque. I'm sure he will ask the doc for a date when alcohol can be consumed. But after not eating or drinking almost nothing for a few months alcohol has moved down the list a bit.

Thanks for the reminder there Earl764 .

    I miss February. :(

Got the stove & venting cleaned here yesterday/today, only surprise was the amount of buildup on the combustion blower blades & inner housing - it was definitely dragging the motor. Dunno if it was pellets, lack of maintenance, solar flare activity / lunar tidal pull. Might be lack of maintenance, looks like last time done was Dec. '16. about 1.5 tons ago.

She must be dating Al Gore.. ... Bring back Global Warming, please. It's friggin cold here. :picard:

Off to work for overnight Server maintenance (Yay) - if you're reading this: you're up past ur bedtime. :p Have one for me please.

    Stay warm everyone.

Full cleaning of the P61a including vent and LBT since that stove goes thru 3x the pellets as the P43. Ash pan wasn't quite full, but still would have been overflowing if I'd left it for next weekend. Got it up and running with only losing 2* in the basement.

5* outside this morning and light winds. Wind is supposed to crank back up today. Can hardly wait for the snow Tuesday. Yeah, I'm in the darker purple area (as is CleanFire ) so figuring on that higher snow total. Of course it is still early so the projection can still change - if it does change I hope it is for the better! I believe I will be working form home on that day (still will have to go to my night job though). To think, a couple of days ago I was thinking I need to drain the gas out of the snow blower - now it looks like I can just run it dry.
