Those look very similar to the ones I got for Christmas, cept they dont have the LL Bean strap. But they were bought at LL Bean. The bottom part is exactly the same, your look easier to get on though.

    They work great !!!

you are right, we are going to get hit hard. Look at it this way, it is Feb. and this is Maine. I will admit anything over a foot of snow will even shut us down for a while. There is talk of another big storm coming in Wed-Thu this week. We will be getting a front in loader in here if this pattern keeps up. .

Wow, my snow dance worked. Yesterday morning I got out of the truck taking a few steps towards the shop, the next thing I know I'm hitting the ground with a vengeance. I make my obligatory snow angel while I figure out if I broke anything. :faint: Crap I forgot how 'great' it feels to fall with an inch of snow over solid ice.:emb:

So today is the big day for snow, I think I said two inches......

First round of snow blowing is done. Only 4" or so out there but the street plow came thru so I figured I better tackle the small berm. I didn't do everything; the driveway, the berm from the mailbox to the opening to the shed (~130', the path to the front door (since some of the driveway snow is blown over the path) and the part of the opening to the shed that got blown snow from the other side of the driveway. Everything else has a fairly clear area to blow to, so will wait until there is more on the ground.

Did a quick clean of the P43 late this morning and a more extensive clean of the P61a (emptied ash can and checked exaust path). Ran the dishwasher and did all the laundry so if the power goes out later, all of that is done. Made tacos for lunch. Did some reading and took a nap. Not a bad day so far.

WG is being weird about what is happening on Wednesday - I've been watching that day since last Wednesday; some days it says 5-8", some days it says 12+" and in between (and now), it says a couple of inches.
