a package deal I couldn't pass up last fall. they have been delivered to the farm and are inside (of course) I've seen all three over the years as they belonged to a member who always came to our shows, but not lately. I'll have to check them out as soon as the weather moderates

Well, I took Sub's advice from a few weeks ago, and tuned the Francesca to run at a higher setting this week - now burning at 2.1 lbs/hr here, exit temp. @ the Heat Exchange tubes is now 265 F. * This is the hottest the stove has ever ran here. :fire:

I took the 2nd probe for the pyrometer and set it up inside the stove to measure by the control board to make sure the electronics wouldn't be affected w/ the additional heat, all was good - 140F - but kicked the room air convection fan up a notch, just in case.

Going to run it & keep an eye on it this evening, might even try trimming fuel up to 2.2 lb/hr. Living on the edge here.

Good, it isnt just me. Today's cleanup was a real PITA. Nice light snow and a ever changing wind. Along with wearing it, most of the driveway had an inch to be shoveled when finished from it blowing back over. Funny thing (not really) about the blow over was it was like a packed down snow and a royal pain to get back up.

Ah well, its only practice for the next week where we are getting storms almost daily.

I just advised the wife about the hotter temps., to be careful in front of the stove / filling the hopper .. Covering all bases here.

I AM a mad scientist today - heading out to the workshop to finish fabricating the circle cutting jig for the scroll saw, so I can get the Heat Register dampers finished up this weekend.. And keep working on the pellet venting bogieb was kind enough to gift us a few weeks ago..

And continue on the reconditioning of the Englander 25-PDVC sitting out there also: pulling auger motors / augers, is next on the list.

Gonna get to it, see you all later !

Barrington was in the narrow belt of craziness. Over a foot in 3 hours.

Our newest admin is spending her first winter here and was really baptized yesterday.  Her hubby is retired Navy and now works at the shipyard but he us from here. She is from California and spent the last many years where he was stationed in Norfork. I give her a lot of credit as she has shown up every day there has been a storm.

That silverking is beautiful, not big on big Green because of there recent practices but that one is a nice specimen. Now if only that Oliver was a wide front end it would be perfect. Lol

    Competition is a GREAT thing.

Been here for about 20 years and Metrocast has had no competition other than satellite. Well TDS came to town with fiber and offering lower rates with higher internet speeds.

TV picture has gotten much better, we now have more features and internet speeds went from 20 to 50 mps. Today I called Metrocast and let them know about the lower rates, higher speeds and whole house dvr being offered. Of course they already know this and they lowered by rate by about $50 per month and upped my speed to 150 mps. Its a 2 year rate lock with no contract so I can still cancel without penalty but in all reality I got exactly what I was looking for.

Take your pick, I'm not interested in getting either of these. And to think there are other storms lining up with this one.

Great, I cleared our outbound delivery schedule because we have 2-3 trucks of inventory scheduled to come in on Monday.
This all means that nothing will likely happen Monday :headbang:

I would hope there is no buffering with that speed! I went back to Direct TV for our TV viewing. We had Timewarner, but their $89 package crept up to $200. I still have internet and phone with them. No other options here for high speed except some metered stuff from Hughes. My high speed is 50 mps, I thought that was good.
