    Warsh is in progress, bottles are sanitizing for the hard cider, pellets have been moved to the burn room for the week, next up cleaning the stove (it is Thursday so the boss is away to quilt club so any oops moment don't lead to skillet swinging).

    You know, I am not sure. The kids got them as little chicks. They had a few from an older flock and then added six birds. They follow the kids around like a dog would. Laying eggs now. I don't think they are going to like the snow at all.

    The snow keeps coming. Nothing like they've had in Buffalo. We've only had 28 inches since it started late Sunday. That's not bad, but the fricking wind didn't let up until tonight. Some of the drifts in my yard are about 4 feet deep. Most of my woodpile is buried. Good thing I mostly burn pellets. :)

    Had to grab the roof rake and clear some of the snow off the roof. Freezing rain (just a glazing) then regular rain (1-2" of rain, so they say) coming this weekend. I don't know how much weight my roof can take, but I don't want to find out.

    Only four more months before winter is on its way out.

    I saw a product at HD that you throw up on your roof if you get ice damms. It dissolves the ice dam in places so the waters does not back up on your roof.
