Construction in the park, but lodging either booked or too expensive. North end of lake, a couple options in cody and wapiti said no to long term rentals though full price was offered ( $22K).

If our "normal" delivery lady isn't on, we might or might not get our mail. Sometimes the sub leaves it in the truck and marks that that the delivery was attempted but the mailbox obstructed. Sometimes marked as delivered but is still on the truck for the next person. Might go on for a couple days until someone decides to deliver mail to our street. I had all kinds of excuses given. Now I call the post office every time I get overlooked and ask for an explanation. I've yet to get one.

Maybe your driveway is a left turn. Postmaster where I work once told me that they dont want the carriers making left turns. True statement :faint:

My box is on the right, but it is a dead end road, we being the last house in. I have even had instances where they delivered the mail, but left the packages in the truck. I would think they would get irritated with my constant calling but it seems to be like water running off a duck's back.

I still don't understand why the neighbor's to either side of me get their mail about 3 pm and my mail arrives between 5 and 6 PM. Yep, I'll watch the carrier stop at the house to the south of me, go right by my mailbox (on the same side of the road), and go to the neighbor on my north side. 2 hours later here she comes again - the same way down the road (from south to north) and delivers my mail :picard:.

When I first moved in I tried to put my mailbox next to my south-side neighbor's (on my property). The previous owner had placed the mailbox in the garage so I didn't know where it had been. The mail lady had a conniption and told me that I couldn't put it there and I had to put it by the culvert (where, later I found out, they plow the dang street snow to - yes, I have fun snow blowing). I talked to the post master and he said I had to put it there because that is where they want it. I suspect this is a case of they want it there because it has always been there

    The numbers in sequential order?
Must be some error in the machines if they are.

No doubt, for that price he should buy them a 5th wheel, but all the camping spots are booked.

Yes they are in sequential order. And, they are small numbers (mine is 12)
