    Same here. I find very good sales on LEDs at HD. Odd how the price will jump up and down, but many of my bulbs don't cost more than a buck each. One thing I noticed. Outside, base up, they last. Base down, they burn out in a year or so. That is even in glassed in lamps. I like the warm light as opposed to the bright white light.

    My dad and his wife have had indoor only cats for many years,declawed,and I see that can be an OK thing,but I need a mouser,this fella appears will be one.Strays out here have short lifespan from coyotes and mountain lions.

    Double sided tape as well.

    There is also a sprayed scent they advoid and you can't smell.

    I let mine decide if they are indoor or outdoor. I do get them in at night in the summertime though.

    The shelter told me that they thought Daisy was too timid to be outdoors. Yeah, right. She is small but also a bengal/siamese mix-try and keep her inside during the summer. She doesnt like the cold as much but will still go out for a few minutes.

    Slick is a large orange tomcat-guess what he likes? I have let him out when its cold just to prove a point to him that its winter and not the warm sunshine he feels in the bay window. One day after an ice storm, he was chomping at the bit to go out. He went to the driveway, sat down on the glare ice and started sliding down while sitting. It was a riot and I wish I had it on video. After or during a snow storm I can open the garage door and he will go up to the huge pile of snow at the door, make a noise in disgust and come back in.

    I forgot that!!I did the tape thing with my old cat many years ago,on the counter,it worked very well!Thanks,but this one is getting into the upper windows,which is fine,already have had 2 neighbors tell me--there is a cat in your upstairs window when i drive by---I love it.

    I have these in various places.. I have 6 cats and they don't bother my furniture. Rub some catnip on the rope to get them acquainted with it. My cats really rip up that rope. Toys, cat live milk bottle caps. They also love those cheap small Christmas ribbons, esp. the foil ones. I also give mine the toilet paper tubes. Tape some yarn to it and watch them go for it.

    he has 1 catnip toy,several t-paper tubes i cut fingers in,so they roll weird,an old plastic tube(2 part epoxy,with paper directions inside),2 things hanging from ceiling on strings,and i taped beer boxes together,cut channels through them.(but,according to my neighbors,i hate cats!?)but his fav thing is a piece of clear plastic,about 1/4 of a circle,with a hole(think it was a guard off an old pc mouse) he loves that thing!
