I would rather a nice fluffy snow too. 46* here now and raining. Just before 9 I thought I heard a big wind coming, or an earthquake or something. Nope, just every bit of snow sliding off two sides of the roof at the same time. I went out and cleaned up the back porch and ramp (40' of ramp!) and then cleaned it off the driveway. Took forever using small shovel loads since that stuff weighs about 5# per cubic inch.

She only uses these boots when tending the birds. Yes some are easy to use and some not so easy. Just don't wear them in the house murder on most flooring.

Mine came off the solar panels last night . Loud. Be careful B. That snow is heavy and compacted.

Good show I managed to get the 7' version of our tree together and trimmed. In fact, I managed my normal decoration load except it was a 7' vs a 9' tree. We had the vertical space in this house to handle 12' one but said nope too much work on a ladder.

When we lived in an old house in VA with 11' ceilings we used to get a big ole tree  but now this little fella will be set up in the Man Cave and space is limited and that's OK . Won't decorate it till later this week when the girls come up from NC for the Holiday :D

With allergies in multiple family members it has been decades since I've had a real tree.

I have run the figures for this place many a time, can't get it to work, was wondering what I didn't see. Now, I can see it for some places in California.

I was very careful - not going out until I was fsure all the snow was off the roof in the areas I was shoveling.

Got up to 52! The paths that I didn't snow blow the second time around yesterday are completely clear of snow and ice. I was going to give the P61 a quick clean and dump the ash can, but the wind just started howling, so I won't. No big deal since I emptied it last weekend. Glad I got my grocery shopping and stop at the post office done before the wind started up!

I'm thinking that the left blade on the blower is supposed to look like the right blade of the blower. Guess I know why it started KerThunking part way the the 1st session yesterday.

Bent snowblower blade.jpg snowblower blade - right side.jpg

Bent the blade further in so it no longer scrapes the side wall (hopefully). Guess I didn't get all the big branches out of the pathways after the wind and extreme cold on Thursday.
