Yup, stayed home after dropping off the cat at the vet.

Called around to get the truck in for service on Wednesday. If this had happened most times of the year, I would have tried to repair in my driveway but not now. Plus if it isnt a switch I have it at someone I can trust.

I thought about going in but went outside to clean the snow and of course after that I said screw it, staying home-like Will, use em or lose em and I have lost far too many over the years.

8" reported on the mountain (Pats Peak ski area, just down the road), probably a bit less here, 6-7" (I quit measuring after 5" - when I started removal). No rain (yay) and up to 36* at this point. Roof keeps dumping its load, so have to keep going out and cleaning up the driveway and back porch/ramp.

I just hated that, So went out and bought a roof rack. I usually just do by the deck unless we get big snow. Once we get a big snow, I just do the whole thing then.

Lights, garland, topper, and several dozen ornaments are now on the tree. The mail boxes got whacked by the plow. Package coming tomorrow. Next door is taking care of it.

Little buddy is home now and very wobbly-looks drunk as helz-he would NOT pass a field sobriety test. Enough that I have him in his carrier for a little bit-poor guy. Dr says no stairs at least overnight so he is in a bedroom and shortly will be out of the carrier and on his favorite bed-the dog's bed

Just came out of the surgery around 2:30 and had to have all but 2 teeth removed. At 8 years old he has had gum/teeth issues all along and this was the final necessary step bit it took me a while to wrap my head around this. Xrays revealed the severity. The teeth that were left were because they looked fine in the xrays and its traumatic to remove healthy teeth.

Give him a few days and he will be much better. Dr said he will likely be feeling better almost right away because the exposed nerves are now gone. In a few weeks he hopefully will be a very happy kitty with no mouth pain.
