Last night my wife tried to buy like 5 things. Didn't go through, trouble with her card. She cleared her cart.
Today, she updated her card info (had wrong exp date) added items back to cart, order went through.
Apparently, if you have trouble with an order due to your cc, they keep trying. Because they put the order through twice. And will not cancel the items because she found out greater than 2 hours after purchase. So, you can return items within 14days for a full refund. I told her to get labels for everything that was ordered, it's all going back.

 

A buddy of mine bought a bass guitar at Guitar Center online on Black Friday. The guitar was on backorder for a few weeks and the price dropped a few days later by enough to make it worthwhile to call and get the new price. Since the order was still in que and still backordered he called to have them adjust the price. They said that they cant change the order nor can they cancel it. They told him to order a second and return the first one once he gets it and they will pay the return shipping

There is a brick and mortar store nearby so he will just bring it there for the refund.

 

Cleaned the stove today in anticipation of the cold that is already here. First ash pan dump of the season after 49 bags of FSU's and Natures Own. Love the ash pans on the P series! Ran the FSU's out of the hopper after startup and loaded it up with Lacrete. 23 outside with the wind howlin, 73 inside. It may hit 75 before I decide to turn it down. I like toasty warm.

 

Quick clean of the firebox tonight and fired her up. Still using the Crabbe-no need for a changeover to LaCrete yet. This will be a good weekend for a real test.

The guitar return should be interesting once he gets it as he returned a PA speaker to the store a year or so ago. The store then ships it back to the warehouse-but they never changed the shipping label and it showed up at his house again plus he got the refund from the store return.

I believe that you right a wrong such as a cashier giving you an extra 20 stuck together or something like that. But when its just stupidity then its on them.

 

agree.so,today,paid for my fuel at pump,went in to get beers,girl had me insert the"chip" card backwards,3 times,would not listen to me,had to call manager to use "swipe"

 

But,on a good note,home despot called,a 50 dollar "goodwill" payout to me came intoday,took 3 months,but was headed there next week anyway.

After hunting this afternoon i gave the hastings a good cleaning and loaded her with some chows. With the cold predicted for the next few days i figured I'd feed her the good stuff.
