    I never said low carb was unhealthy, in fact we don't even need carbs to survive.
    But carbs do have benefits and there is more than one way to accomplish a goal.

    Then again there might be a few members that need carbs to survive. :D:cheers:

    I definitely reacted to the "healthy balanced diet" part. It's probably the leading phrase used to knock ketogenic diets.
    Used in the institutional/culturally accepted form, it actually relates to the McGovern committe made up of politicians and laywers to frame the nutritional guidelines for the nation. Science be dammned.

    So i do apologize and hope you see where i was coming from. :)

    BTW- Wifey is baking christmas cookies. :/

    I'm actually not tempted in the usual way. But those pecan butter cookies smell so damm good.

    Once i'm down to maintenence weight, i'll be getting coconut and almond flour and will start baking treats.
