Congrats on the wt. loss. I'm on low carb diet. No sweets, rice, bread etc. Limited fruits. Mostly meats with fats, low cal veg. No processed fats or other processed food. Lost 41.6 lbs since 27 July, but have twice that to still loose to get even close to where I want to be. I feel so much better without that extra weight. So good luck with your diet and hope nothing gets into your way.

Yes, it is hard socially, but it can be done without making a pain of yourself. I have to stay on it for a very long time, blood work is good. Didn't know I could get fats and not get in trouble, but that is just what has happened. Sugar is my #1 thing to avoid. #2 is processed food. I'm not eating any wheat or rice products. No pasta.

Great lakes brewing makes some good chit!

I'm not a fan of no or low Carb diets, they do work. But I prefer a healthy balanced diet myself.

    Yea.
Should have lasted 22 years before replacement.
They don't make them like they used to.
I am sure that the new ones will last at least 1 or 2 years.

If you have an egg, scramble it up and feed it to him raw to tide him over until the cat food comes home. Or a partial can of tuna, salmon or unflavored sardines. Or if you have a bit of cooked chicken breast (not fried or breaded) break it up in really small bits for him to gnosh on.

Since the USDA initiated the food pyramid model of the balanced diet, america has exploded into obesity.
Also americans are chronically deficient in vitamins.

If you are eating well, that is great.
But the implication that a properly formulated LCHF diet is unhealthy, is just dead wrong.
