Our lil had like a 24 hour stomach flu in 2012 and again in 2014, she recovered quickly. We however got is MUCH worse and it went on for a week, thank goodness we were staggered, but we both ended up at urgent care getting fluids and meds. Interesting. Hopefully it skipped a generation and it will be short lived for you Larry:0

That sounds like usps. had the same thing happen to me. odd though. they delivered other packages and mail here late that same day. it was an amason package. I called amazon. they got the post office on the line and we had a conference call. that driver will keep pulling that stunt until caught.

Best call the local PO Smokey, "Delivered" to them may mean to the local Post Office, not the home.. That's routine whenever DHL and/or FedEx Home are the carrier used when "Super Saver" shipping method is selected, here. (Online status will change like 6 times before "Available for Pickup" appears.)

Nope I requested it to delivered again since they claimed to have left a notice (didn't do that either and their tracker called this morning a redelivery) been down this road before. Happens with subs or temp help.

ETA: The Gorham PO closes at 12:00 noon I called and gave them the information a Supervisor will give me a call.

Understood, well at least you know the package is (somewhere) in Standish.. Hope the package shows up for you today.

Got a touch of this myself Larry, Hope you feel better, stay warm! :shiver: (I've been bundled up for a day now, starting to feel a little better.)

No rest for the wicked here, more woodshed clean out / trash runs to go.. Gotta get the utility trailer hooked up now. The plan is to pickup some shipping pallets this week and lay down -> to build up an elevated floor in the woodshed this winter, I'm tired of having stuff frozen to the ground due to thaw/freeze each winter, like generator wheels, sn@wblower, sand pails, etc.

In other news, the Vanderhoof Platinum pellets burned really well here, on-par w/ the LG Granules, and are also wife-approved.

Dashing through the sn@w .. I'd rather be Fishing ! :seasoned:

Looks like you need to have a face to face talk with the postal service. Teach them not to mess with bears. I hate to say it, but they put every excuse they can come up with when they don't deliver as promised. Why Amazon ever entered into a contract with them, I just don't know. My lady post office delivery person is the only one I trust to do it right. I have a tasty Christmas present for her.

Aren't you supposed to do that on the eve of the first snowstorm??
That's been my modus operandi for decades.
I always say "never again".... because you always need a freakin' part.
Then it repeats the following winter........

    snowblower all set - check.
driveway stakes in place - check
    generator all set - check
    last leaves removed - check
    deck furniture away - check
3 ton of pellets in garage - check
4th year supply of firewood for the workshop - fail! didn't bring in a stick of wood this year. this can't go on, i'm feeling unprepared!

we did run the Zagray sawmill yesterday. milled up nine 8"x8" 10 foot posts for the new food pavilion to be built next year and a fair bit of black walnut 1" boards for a member. 5 more posts and then on to 8"X 10" 12 foot beams. the building will be 48' x 36' truss roof and with a 12' x 24' food concession on the back.

worked on the Atlas engine today as it was supposed to be rainy...NOT!
