Pellet Furnace Questions

    Welcome Carl. There were a couple pellet furnaces on CL around here but they've since disappeared. One was a PF-100 that would have been a steal if it lived up to its description ($2600, 3 years old).

    How many square feet would you be heating? As imacman mentioned, it's better to have a furnace that doesn't need to be run full tilt to do the job.

    Thanks for the suggestion. I use searchtempest, but am not thrilled with it. It seems to pick up new listings a day or two too late most of the time. I've missed a few deals because of that. Either way, pellet stoves are not nearly as popular in the midwest as they are elsewhere, so I was behind the 8 ball to begin with. Then I go and pick the coldest winter ever and try to find a bargain on a heating appliance...:rofl: :lol::emb:

    search tempest never works well for me either...I find things on my local CL that don't show up there with the same search.
