Filled the hoppers this morning so counted what I have used this month - 40 bags used for December with a total of 89.5 bags for this heating season.

Even though I used the second most pellets for the months of September and October, this is the first time that I've used less than 2 tons total by the end of December (since I started keeping track in 2016/17 season).

January count of 44 and used 4 1/2 drums of corn to date of 7 drums(1000 kg). February has started on a polar vortex brought on from the full moon :shiver:

Well, not sure if I wrote it down, this winter, will check later. It has been a colder winter, much less snow, but OK sun, which heats my house in the afternoon.BUT, as a memory reference, i think I have burned 1.5 to 2 tons. BUT my heavy burning continues into end of April, here.

It is, If my place had seen more sun, it would have been less since the temps were fairly mild except for last week.
