    Wife wanted to make some parm crusted chicken filets this evening so we browned the breasts over some applewood, stay tuned to see the finished product!!

    We've had this dish many times before, never over the pit though. The Applewood made it phenominal!

    What is it about cooking over fire makes the food take on so much flavor? Roasted veggies, even fish takes on a flavor not found on a regular grill or stove. Might be all in my head but whatever it is, I know it is better.

    After I take the chicken off the fire, she puts the cheese crust on it and broils it in the oven for 5-10min.
