Nice, very nice. That is the kind of folk-art that people love. We'll see it on American Roadshow in 2040!
Probably prompted by Pallet Pete's prodigious pallet prowess, I pondered processing 2 of my poorer pallets. Promptly procuring my persuaders.. I proceeded, and through persistent pounding, and prolific perspiration, I produced a small pile of pallet parts for personal projects.. Props to Pallet Pete
Instead of cribbing he was actually making a backstop for our wood pile. He put 2 pallets together and put them over some t-post. He then took the boards and used them to join the sides together. We didn't have any boards to use so he took a couple of pallets. Some of the boards he is going to turn into kindling. End result:
For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Isa 9:6 You also sing ? ( Above from Handel's Messiah with some adjustments ) Nice tune BTW.
I wish I could sing. There are a couple of pieces from Handel's Messiah that I love to sing with no one around to hear me. Best rendition of the Hallelujah chorus I heard was a choir singing a cappella on a bus in an impromptu concert for me. The acoustics were awesome.
In addition to the pallet ends I'm also thinking abou making a short/uglies bin. Still have some leftover metal roofing I can put over it as well. Currently don't have a good place to store them. Perhaps one day I'll have enough pallets to fab up a small woodshed.
I use aircraft cable to hold the uprights apart. Works pretty good and I got it for free. I have about 35 of these pallet set-ups now. I have to rebuild parts of them every couple of years.
I've been making pallets for storing and moving firewood for more than 10 years. Makes moving wood around easy
