Pacific energy thoughts?

I don't know the size of the hole and the manual does not state or I can not find. I need to clean the stove and get ready for winter heating. I will measure and let you know. I have never used the ash pan at all, not even to shovel ash.

I am in the Halloween holiday spirit.

 

The general consensus is to stay away from the Lopi Leyden and Avalon Arbor. They are Travis's attempt at a downdraft secondary combustion setup, and are known for unpredictably and glowing stove parts. They either work or they don't. I'm sure there are lots of happy owners, but there are lots of horror stories as well. Discontinued for a reason. Their tube stoves have a great reputation.

These are not to be confused with their pellet stoves of the same names, which I think are pretty decent units.
