I won't complain if you bring some more pies. Now if you bring Curt that's different story.

We're thinking about maybe a baked pineapple casserole. Can do in a crock pot or an aluminum pan so can thrown on the smoker to warm up.

Man, here I am, still buzzing from our trip to Backwoods Savage 's place and I'm already looking forward to the end of May!!

Gonna be a howling good time, brothers and sisters!! I should have a nice stack of logs ready to go for the cutting festivities by then! Couple of big poplars, big spruces and maybe even some big ash!!

Was out morel hunting and found couple nice ramp patches. Strike out on the morels but I'll take the ramps as a consolation prize. If I have the time next week maybe I'll head out and try to get a few more pounds so I can bring a real treat, a few pints of pickled ramps. I can taste them with the pulled pork!

    Just did these this evening.

I've never had ramps. My nephews have been finding morels like crazy but they eat them about as fast as they find them.

I just looked up Haluski and it looks good. Do the leftovers (if any) heat up well? I was thinking of taking it to a potluck but it would be the day after I made it.
