Finally have the trash bin in place. I completed it last weekend, but other work got in the way of me moving it. I wanted to sand the bottom and the sides to put a fresh coat of paint on it, but the wife wanted me to wait until after the woodshed is built and the brush is cleared away. On the brush front, I started that Saturday and cleared away brush in the back from the largest tree I need to take down. To help with this I bought the Echo Pruner Pole Saw attachment to add to my arsenal. Between that, and the mid-reach hedge trimmer the brush is going down pretty quick. When I took a closer look at the tree, the top of one fork snapped off. It's rather larger and would be considered a normal size tree on it's own. I'll try to get a picture. The snap part is too high for me to cut that part off. Though leaving it would make taking down the main part of the tree dangerous as it would whip around as the main part of the tree came down. At least that is what I'm guessing will happen. We are taking another fork of the tree off tomorrow after work. I'll take the pictures then. Once you see it, you'll have a better idea of what I'm looking at. Then you'll be able to let me know what you think will happen when the main tree comes down. Jason from RI
Just for clarification, the woodshed is going to the left of the trash bin. Once I finish up clearing the brush, dropping the tree, and processing it, I'll be moving on to bucking the logs in the way of the shed. Once the logs are out of the way, we'll start building the shed on skids. The town said no to permanent piers. I've checked without calling them, and a non-pernanent structure under 96 sqft is fine (12'X6' 8'tall). Worst case I have to tow it in the backyard. Jason from RI
