I snowblowed my way the 25ft it took to get to my rounds and splitting stump. The location was with snow in mind. A few minutes shoveling to widen out the area and I was good to go. I understand that not everybody has that opportunity.

Good work, and good to help out the Missus' mother for the holidays and clean up the view for her. Nice patch of woods there. Lots of young Beech trees! I wonder if they're the offspring from A Beech Named Eileen!

Could be, although that tree was from the South woods and this was the North side. Learned this year that beech will put out runner roots like BL does. She does have a lot of them around.

Nice sunny cold day again and decided to hit the woods. Was able to split and stack all the oak. 361 noodled a few. IMG_3675.JPG IMG_3676.JPG IMG_3677.JPG Lots of punk i had to remove. IMG_3678.JPG Bought the wheelbarrow and pulled the birch. IMG_3674.JPG IMG_3673.JPG Brought it home and split it. Kept sniffing the splits. Nice wintergreen smell. IMG_3679.JPG
Maybe a couple face cord total. Pretty sore and popped some ibuprofen.

He has told it a couple times on here. Maybe he'll chime in.

Had to move the stacks out. Ms.buZZsaw's mother passed away suddenly on new years day and house changing hands. Not too bad getting it out...downhill. You can barely see my PU in the first pic. Did this on Saturday. IMG_4980.JPG IMG_4979.JPG IMG_4978.JPG Had another stack of oak from November 2019 in another area to move as well. IMG_4976.JPG
    Two PU fulls.
