Outdoor living area underway

Perhaps, maybe I’m confused as to what will be poured. I’d expect to see a form around the septic access and the 4x4 pt will be buried in concrete? I realize things are done differently in various parts of the country.

 

Definitely need to form out the septic access and it looks like the only choice is to pour around the posts (less than ideal) I have seen it done, but I would expect cracks if no diagonal rebars are placed at the corners. When the posts rot, that will be another issue.

 

they are putting wire down first. Had to wait until tomorrow. So it goes...

Yes, the wood to the septic access will be removed. I presume the rot prevention for the posts are addressed. Something I may ask! But he is building it to same standard as his home, that he is basing this project on.

 

Floor poured and pressure washed. Now on to the kitchen and dining bar.

A delay in block delivery, but it is full-on again. The wall work is done. Finishing on the kitchen area and some more electric work and we are good to go

How are you liking the EZ-Breeze sliding panels?

 

MikeInMa they are pretty nice. My wife enjoys sitting in the room and reading in the evenings. I think we will sleep out the a lot. Like being outdoors, with the bugs.
