It’s raining so I decided to play with lights rather than finishing the stain today. I have a little bit of wiring to figure out for the lights to plug in up by the ceiling I can’t hardwire them because of the Bluetooth built into them. So it’s going to have to be a receptacle up by the ceiling somewhere.

Each side is on its own strand and I can control them separately.

Looks like Pallet Pete won't be having any GTG's at his place. No work would get done with everyone staying in or close to his outdoor kitchen:rofl: :rofl: :rofl:

I decided rather than buying a sink to cut the old kitchen double sink in half an does it work good! I wanted the faucet and sprayer on the back right so that’s the side of the sink I used. I’m on to making some supports for it now.

I just took a picture with it darker out and man those lights work good! They have a ton of color options too. Perfect brightness level for a bonfire night!

Finally finished the stain and got more on me than the framing with that dang pad but it worked good enough…

Do you have any provisions for keeping the smoke from coating the underside of your roof? My dad made a little BBQ shack and his got ugly pretty quick. He ended up putting a hole in his roof and a makeshift chimney to let it vent. Kinda like a hood over a restaurant oven.

I’m thinking the kitchen area will get a vent in the middle. I will say I’ve smoked a lot in here already and the roof is still clean but I’d still like to get more smoke out of the area on non windy days.

 It looks so good I'd do whatever it took to keep it that way. :dex: My smoker usually doesn't belch smoke when I cook but after a couple years it might shows discoloration.

O there’s a story there….  No not really at this point. I have a nice homemade dock cooler and a couple others that should work fine for food and drink.

As of now we are doing a birthday bonfire for the wife next month and I’m off work till probably Friday this week so I’m getting as much done as possible before then. Hopefully the sink will be hooked up tomorrow I’m waiting on the faucet to arrive from Amazon. There’s a possibility that I’ll run some electrical but I haven't decided yet.
