Do any of you know where to find custom made tarps at a reasonable price?

I’ve got an idea on how to cover the openings for the winter but I need to order some tarps to my dimensions.

You might try these folks, Pete. I feel they offer reasonable pricing and solid quality.

Will you look to use clear or opaque/colored tarping?

I’m thinking brown tarps most likely so they match the stain. It’s a bit hard to explain what I have in mind but here it goes.
I’m going to use some coated cables that I already have with eye hooks and run the cables through three sides of the tarps except the entrance area that will stay open so people don’t trip on a cable. That way they can be drawn shut in rain, sun or winter and seal the tiki hut up when needed or wanted. The side left free will tie up to the post on the far side after being drawn shut. When there not in use they can simply pull over and tie up to a post out of the way. Really like big curtains.

I know of a place in NH that makes tarps for our dump trucks and big trailers they can pretty much make whatever you can think up. Shipping will be a killer tho. I’ll bet there is a truck tarp shop out that way somewhere…

We have a couple amish tarp shops near here...they make a lot of boat covers I think...fairly reasonable in comparison...

Well I think I just struck gold! I had this old oil drum laying in the yard for years now and I had a lightbulb moment! Time to clean it up, paint it, put a wooden top on and maybe cut a door into it for storage. It’s the perfect stand for the GMG Davey Crockett smoker!

We use those plastic panels on our front porch to enclose it. Maybe about ten years. He uses a u shaped piece of metal that has holes in it as a track. Top and bottom. I know he does screw them down at the top.

Got coffee table finished and am now on to staining the structure. There’s still a lot to do but it’s usable now! The bar stools will be delivered in a day or two according to Amazon.

Well I got the stain 99% complete today the picture was before I finished the staining project. I worked until it was dark out but I can get a pic in the light in a day or two of the finished product. It’s almost complete. Definitely one heck of a grill area! I’ve got the Smoker, Gas grill and Charcoal grill out there and soon the blackstone might be added to the kitchen. We may add a sink yet I have a bit of measuring to do before I figure out that part. the sink is turning into a little bit of a challenge… If I can find one I’ll add an outdoor electric deep fryer but that’s also a tad elusive. Most that are outdoor rates are propane.

    Thanks Scotty!

It’s comfortable! My friend and I sat out there for a while after I finished staining and talked. Very relaxing!
