We got started at 12:30:jaw: life got in the way of an early starting time. It really shocks me that it only took 3.5 hours to pour the slab…. That concrete mixer held 4 bags at a time:dex: and mixes pretty fast!

I pulled the forms off yesterday afternoon after the rain let up and it is drying very nicely. It’s got an interesting white sheen to the pad now.

I got the first kitchen wall built and stained today and it only took 2 pallets to my surprise! I might have enough to build the bar top as well! It’s not fancy but it turned out pretty nice non the less!

Yes they are custom pallets from my work. Our product gets shipped on them. I made the fence out of these pallets a long time ago as well!

I hate to think how long it takes to free the boards from the pallets. So many nails or staples in them.

I don’t know if Pallet Pete uses one, but there are pneumatic “denailing” guns available for the task… basically a nail gun that has an excessive nailing stroke that pushes the nail thru the slat.
