We were(maybe somewhat recklessly) setting some mortar style fireworks off at our camp and a hour or so later I noticed that a hole in the tree was glowing. We decided to just let it go and see what would happen. This is what happened:

Was up in the morning sitting around drinking coffee and heard it let go. Was a dead tree I was going to drop anyways and nothing was in the way. Lucky shot with a mortar round!

Yep. Go collecting trees every year for my buddys winter fest party. Decorate the yard with them then burn them throughout the night. Pretty light tree year, only had 65. Two years ago we had 170. He has 3 burn barrels around the yard that we stuff trees into and a open pit fire too. The collecting of the trees is usually a fun couple nights too, always turns into a party.

pretty ridiculous load we had here between my truck and trailer. She was stuffed full, had em wedged between the truck and trailer on the tongue. Good thing it was late at night and we weren’t traveling far or fast.

Tonight’s dinner. Not sure if they were really that good or it was cause of the bourbon. 953E5142-D5BD-49AF-BB5E-0FBE4BF03775.jpeg
