GF asked for a campfire for her birthday yesterday. (Obviously she is high maintenance). Nice cool evening, Burnt dead silver maple limbs I have been clearing off my lawn. Horkn....fire pit look familiar??.
It's pretty similar. Mines on it's last legs though. Any day now we'll replace it once I find a nicely priced one
Mine is 4 years old now and in pretty good shape. I put some fire bricks on the bottom and keep it covered with a sheet of rubber when not in use.
Bet that coffee and fire felt great. Chilly morning compared to what is been. Ill have our firepit going all afternoon. Rack of ribs being smoked and i'll make a batch or two of charcoal.
Not anywhere near nice out last night or this am. It dumped rain and we were in a flood watch. Not boating weather either, so I continued to paint the ceilings in the stove room/ family room. Maybe we'll get lucky and we can have a fire tonight? Or Sunday night??
