You can cause some global warming with a fire that big. How close can you get to it once fully engulfed? Got my rinky dink fire pit going. Got plenty of scrap top burn. Probably grilling with the charcoal later.
lol well my high temperature was 69° so I am not afraid of global warming In operating position on Kubota I am 12 feet behind bucket and that’s too close when engulfed After it burns down through edges in and back up again It’s a bonfire the 3 foot closer then 3 foot back is the game
Are you that much of a city Weeny? You don’t do that until it’s burnt down bed of coals and you big tough man braves heat for woman and small children. And as your sons grow and want to do it themselves you cut them 10 ft long green
I wish it was cool enough here for a fire. Heat index of 110 today and it is already too warm to be outside.
Love that Firepit Mike. Nice morning for it. Ill be getting ours going later. Firing up the smoker for some BS chicken breasts. Not sure of recipe yet. Maybe bacon wrapped. A batch of charcoal will be whipped up too.
Didnt see the pic in the OP Didn't see the pic in the OP just the link. Im using sugar maple bark tp "cook" my charcoal. First batch done and second going now. Only takes a two hours or less. Chix is brining and wont go on til late.
I have alot of red oak. I am fortunate to have it season for 4+ years. When it's time to move splits from the woodyard, bark sheets just fall off. Instead of scaling it into the woods, I find a place for it. Burns hot in campfires.
